British Heritage Brands Worn by Queen Elizabeth II Launch Centenary Collections
Seven of Britain's most prestigious heritage brands—all Royal Warrant Holders worn by Queen Elizabeth II throughout her life—have launched new product ranges to mark the centenary of her birth.
Burberry, Launer London, Kinloch Anderson, Corgi Socks, Dents, Floris, and Fulton Umbrellas have collaborated with Royal Collection Trust to create collections that celebrate the late Queen's enduring support for British craftsmanship. The products went on sale yesterday (Thursday 26 March) and accompany the major exhibition Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style, opening on 10 April 2026 at The King's Gallery, Buckingham Palace.
Tying the collections together is the Old Stewart Tartan, featuring soft, muted colours drawn from the Scottish landscape and inspired by cloth naturally aged by time and the elements. It was frequently worn by Queen Elizabeth II for informal occasions, particularly when staying at Balmoral Castle.
Burberry was awarded a Royal Warrant by the Queen in 1955, and she often chose the brand for outdoor pursuits. The new capsule collection comprises a long gabardine car coat tailored in Yorkshire, a cashmere scarf woven in Scotland, a silk twill scarf featuring a hand-painted depiction of Balmoral Castle, and a gold-plated brooch in the shape of a corgi. A new holly green colourway of the Burberry House Check has been created especially for the collection, inspired by the Old Stewart Tartan. A Burberry riding cape and silk scarf from the Queen's wardrobe will feature in the exhibition.
Launer London supplied the Queen with handmade handbags for more than 50 years and was granted a Royal Warrant in 1968. The centenary collection includes a black Traviata bag and green Judi bag, both featuring tartan linings supplied by Kinloch Anderson—reprising the trusted silhouettes the Queen used for engagements throughout her reign. Three Launer bags from her personal collection will be on display in the exhibition.
Kinloch Anderson, the renowned Scottish experts in tartans, Highland dress, and kiltmaking, held Queen Elizabeth II's Royal Warrant for tailoring and kiltmaking for the duration of her reign. The company designed a number of tartans for the Royal Household, including the Old Stewart Tartan. New pieces for the centenary include a lambswool throw made in Scotland, a silk pocket square, and a silk tie, all in the Old Stewart Tartan. A tartan skirt made for the Queen by Kinloch Anderson will feature in the exhibition.
Corgi Socks, run by the fifth and sixth generations of the Jones family in Carmarthenshire, Wales, has created handfinished socks in the Old Stewart Tartan pattern.
Dents created gloves for the Queen throughout her 70-year reign—she was rarely seen carrying out official engagements without them. The company has crafted traditionally made leather gloves in green or navy, presented in a box featuring the Old Stewart Tartan.
Floris, the only perfumer to hold a Royal Warrant from the Queen, has created a centenary edition of Night Scented Jasmine eau de toilette, presented in bespoke packaging decorated with the Old Stewart Tartan.
Fulton Umbrellas supplied the Queen with her famous transparent "Birdcage" umbrellas from the 1960s onwards. Decorated with coloured trims to match her outfits, the clear umbrellas ensured she could be seen by bystanders in inclement weather. A new birdcage-shaped umbrella with an Old Stewart Tartan trim has been made for the centenary, alongside a folding umbrella in the tartan pattern. Examples from the Queen's collection will be on display in the exhibition.
The collections are accompanied by the official centenary book Queen Elizabeth II: Fashion and Style by Caroline de Guitaut, published yesterday. Drawing on extensive new research, it reveals the extraordinary craft, collaboration, and diplomacy behind the late Queen's wardrobe.
The products can be purchased online from royalcollectionshop.co.uk or from Royal Collection Trust Shops in London, Edinburgh, and Windsor. The Burberry collaboration is also available in Burberry shops worldwide, and the Launer London pieces from the Launer showroom. Kinloch Anderson products will be available from early April. The Fulton birdcage umbrella is exclusive to Royal Collection Trust Shops.
Income from purchases contributes to the care and conservation of the Royal Collection, held in trust by the Sovereign for the nation.
